These prices are guidelines. There are always unique needs so check
with your new designer for your requirements.
There are two basic steps to having a web
site. Creation and maintenance.
Creation is the first step, and can be the most time consuming because that
is when the most extensive computer coding takes place. This step
also involves creating an attractive, easy to navigate site that integrates
with your existing business presence, such as logos, letterhead, designs,
graphics, etc. You want your web site to "pop" your business'
information into your
visitor's face when they visit. You also want a site they will remember and
will want to return to again and again. There will be a lot of emails
and interaction between you and your designer at this critical stage of your web site design,
so be prepared.
Since Annaswebs.com is no longer doing web design,
this pricing list is for informational purposes only...as is this whole
site/page.
Please be advised that these prices were "as of" 2006, so you can imagine how
much the prices have risen during the years that I have been "out of the
business". So please DO NOT USE these prices to negotiate with your new
web site designer...you will get NOWHERE, FAST!
The second step is maintenance, which
involves keeping your web site fresh. Updates can be done monthly,
quarterly or yearly. Depending upon what type of business you have,
you will need to decide how often you need to update your site. Keep
an eye on your competitions' web sites. If they're updating quarterly,
you should think about doing the same. Or perhaps going for monthly
updates if your sales are better than your competitions'!
Fresh content means more sales...that is the goal, right?
